Media Center Hours:

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Book Check-Out Information

Online Book Search:

We use Destiny Discover for our online card catalog.  Students can search for books we have in the media center or online.  

Checkouts:

Students can check out two books for a two week period.  Books can be renewed if there isn’t a hold for that book.

Overdue Notices:

Notices are given out during ELA classes/1st Period Class every two weeks.

Lost and Damaged Books:

Lost or damaged material must be paid for at the purchase price. If material is found before the end of the school year, you will be issued a refund.

Printing and Copying Information

Printing and Copying:

Black and White Printing:  Students are able to print in black and white from any computer in the Media Center.  The cost is $.10/page.

Color Printing:  Students must share document with circulation desk that they want printed.  The circulation desk are the only ones that can print in color for student.  The cost is $.25/page.

Copying:  The media center has a copier for student use.  The cost of using the copier is $.10/page.

3D Printing:  Students can use and print on the 3D Printer.  The cost varies based on size of object. See Mrs. Herring for information.

Media Center Passes

Passes during Class Time:
Students must have  a signed pass from teacher to come to media center.  Students must have a purpose to be in the media center.  Once student arrives in media center, they must check in at Circulation Desk.  

Passes during Lunch Time:
Students must eat in lunch room first before coming to media center.  Before student leaves lunch room, they need to sign out at Admin lunchroom table.  Once student arrives in media center, they must check in at Circulation Desk.  Once they enter the media center, students may not leave until their lunch time is over.
