CCS Technology Competition

Cartersville Schools Technology Registration

Registration Deadline: October 23, 2025      Registration is Closed 

Competition Guidelines:

• Students compete by grade levels bands: 
  • 3rd and 4th
  • 5th and 6th 
  • 7th and 8th 
  • 9th and 10th
  • 11th and 12th

     

    • Parents are not allowed to be with the students during judging.
    • Tri-boards are not allowed.
    • Students will need to present their project to the judges and will be scored based on the state rubric for each category.
    • Rubrics for each category can be found on the Categories and Projects Page of this website.
       

Students placing first in the Cartersville City School's Technology Competition will compete in the Northwest Regional Tech Competition on January 30, 2026, Northwest Georgia RESA Georgia Highland's Rome Campus.

Students who place first at the regional level competition will be allowed to compete in the State Technology Competition held on March 14, 2026.   Cartersville City Schools will not provide transportation to this event. Students will need to provide their own transportation to the state-level competition.
