Chipper

The Chipper is the online newspaper of Cartersville High School that is published in our Writer's Workshop class. The Chipper includes high quality student journalism, including interviews with famous CHS alumni, Georgia politicians, and other leaders around the state, as well as timely reporting on local and even global issues. You must be in 10th through 12th grade to elect this class. The Chipper is also home to creative works, featuring award-winning short stories, creative nonfiction, and poetry written by students. With monthly issues published through its website, The Chipper is a community staple where parents, teachers, local business owners, and individuals can go to be entertained and informed by Cartersville High School's most talented writers.
